PARTS OF THE BODY

PARTS OF THE BODY
SONG FOR CHILDREN TO LEARN THE PARTS OF THE BODY..

FOOD

        FOOD

Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism's cells in an effort to produce energy, maintain life, or stimulate growth.

JUNK  FOOD

Junk food is a derisive slang term for food that is of little nutritional value and often high in fat, sugar, salt, and calories. Junk foods typically contain high levels of calories from sugar or fat with little protein, vitamins or minerals. Foods commonly considered junk foods include salted snack foods, gum, candy, sweet desserts, fried fast food, and sugary carbonated beverages. [5] Many foods such as hamburgers, pizza, and tacos can be considered either healthy or junk food depending on their ingredients and preparation methods.

my tips..... to teach

Tips on teaching...

1. Motivation: A variety of factors can create a desire to learn. Some students have a practical reason for learning a language like watch English films, understand manuals, and travel to another country etc., this kind of motivation which comes outside the classroom is often referred to as extrinsic motivation, on the other hand intrinsic motivation is the kind of motivation that is generated by what happens inside the classroom; this could be teachers methods, or their perception of their success. And one of the teachers’ main aims should be to help students to sustain their motivation.

2. Rapport: It means the relationship that the students have with the teacher and vice versa, in the best lessons teachers will always see a positive, enjoyable and respectful relationship. Students always wonder what the teacher thinks of them and they have a perception about their teachers. According the way the teacher listen to them and treat them.

3. The students are humans: Teachers have to know their students as people, and not just pupils. Teachers should spend the first several lessons teaching introductions, and allow the students to interact freely with the teacher and the other students. Ask students about their families and teach them the corresponding English phrases. The students will feel more comfortable with the teacher and with each other after introductions have been taught and made.

4. Effective teacher personality: Teachers have to be able to present a professional face to the students which they find both interesting and effective. Teachers need to ask themselves what kind of personality they want their students to encounter and the decisions they take before and during lessons should help to demonstrate that personality.

5. Classroom climate: It is the general atmosphere that exists in the class, and relationship between the teacher and the students. Point out that the classroom climate is strongly affected by the teachers’ attitude, and also by their behavior (how they ask questions, how they maintain discipline, how much they use English, etc.). It also has relation with the teachers’ abilities to manage the class.

6. Teachers’ knowledge: Teachers need to know a lot about the subject they are teaching. They will need to know what equipment is available in their school and how to use it. They need to know what materials are available for teachers and students. They should also do their best to keep abreast of new developments in teaching approaches and techniques by consulting a range of print material, online resources, and by attending, where possible, development sessions and teachers seminars.
